About Osteosarcoma
Osteosarcoma is the most common bone cancer in children, adolescents and young adults but it is still a rare disease with an annual incidence of 2-3 cases per million per year.
Many people with osteosarcoma can be cured but not all and the price of cure even with the most modern treatments is high. Intensive chemotherapy and complex surgery to remove the primary is required. Improving treatment for osteosarcoma is the main goal of the EURAMOS group.
